It’s all in the details…
You may remember Carlie and Mitch from their Junkyard Engagement shoot. Anyone who would agree to have their engagement session in a junkyard are sure to have an interesting wedding and Mitch and Carlie didn’t disappoint.
From the skull earrings and black birdcage veil that Carlie wore to the “Bird is the Word” 45″ vinyl single (refer to The Family Guy) that held their rings – the devil was in the detail for this wedding.
Inspiration for the hair and makeup came from the 50’s and the flame orange and candy red chevrolets screamed rockn’roll. It’s clear that Mitch and Carlie suit this style and love their music.
Each table setting was a polaroid of a famous musical couple ie. Elvis and Priscilla, Kurt Cobain and Courtney Love etc…
They also had a live band which was a ROCKIN’ refreshing change to a dj (no offence to any dj’s out there)
Ben particularly liked Leila and Fry (from Futurama) as cake toppers and the constellation details on the cake – they were so appropriate for the venue, which happens to be an observatory.
Hope you love our fav’s from the day,
Oh – and some details on the vendors for you:
