Sam and Alicia wanted to bring some colour to their mexican fiesta inspired wedding, which they did but we will get to that in a moment.
Before the reception they had a first look photo session which was nice for a change as we had them all to ourselves :) It was a hot day at Watson’s Bay so we stuck mainly to the shadows. Leesh and Sam did a great job modelling in the glare and patiently waiting while crowds dispersed around the busy Watson’s Bay jetty.
Then we moved up the hill to The Gap Bluff Centre to where the ceremony was held, overlooking the harbour and city skyline. The backdrop was beautiful and the girls certainly made a scene as they walked down the road to the altar, dressed in gorgeous vibrant colours. Alicia’s simple white gown was set off with gorgeous metal stitched into the bodice which sparkled in the sun.
After the ceremony the party moved to the Armoury which was decorated with colourful bunting, cactii and other mexican inspired centrepieces for the reception. Sam and Alicia wanted to bring colour to their wedding with the details – the bouquets and dresses but the real colour was from all the characters… their friends and family. It certainly was a fun evening!!!
Here’s a selection of our favourite images from the day but before we go I have to say I love, love, love all the great details from this wedding. The colour was amazing, all the girls looked amazing and the bouquets were very very lovely!!! It was an absolute pleasure Sam and Leesh – congrats to you both. We hope you have a life full of laughs… and colour :)
