Another massive blog post! I just can’t help myself… I have too many favourite photographs from Justine and Peters wedding day.
The day started off hot as it was the end of one of the hottest heat waves in the Sydney area’s history but even before we started shooting, a change came through in the form of a torrential downpour. The cooler temperatures were a welcome relief and gave us the chance to shoot in some great indoor locations around Terrigal.
The girls suite at the Star of the Sea was grand and had a great view. While I was capturing the gorgeous girls and their gowns, Ben ducked out for a quick game of pool with the boys. Not too long after, we were all headed to the Terrigal Anglican Church, which was a lovely contemporary, bright and open building.
After the ceremony, the rain had settled in and a quick phone call to the Crowne Plaza Hotel allowed us to use their foyer and the Lord Ashley Bar, which we gladly used as our location shoot. Then it was off to Reef for the reception. I have to say the meals here were amazing, the amtosphere by the water (even in the pouring rain) was spectacular. Justine and Peter had booked an amazing accoustic musican by the name of Roddy Reason – he played some fantastic stuff.
I hope you enjoy some of my favourites from the day :)
