Ben and I knew that when we arrived at Cypress Lakes Resort and heard a group of guys singing out on their balcony, (I remembered hearing about Osmond’s proposal by serenading Kirsty at their sons christening) it had to be Osmond and his friends. From that point, we knew it was going to be a good day!! :)
This Hunter Valley wedding had it all: Singing, Dancing, Tradition, Colour, Laughter, Tears and Fireworks… and in that order! The day was a merging of cultures – Kirsty is Welsh and her father wore the family colours. Osmond is Samoan so there were lots of traditional elements throughout the day, especially the reception.
The ceremony and reception were held at Tulloch Winery and it is such a fabulous venue. The staff were great and the location are amazing! This place is full of vineyards – just what you want when you are in the Hunter Valley. I should mention all the other Hunter Valley vendors too:
XYDJ – these guys were great. When taking photos it’s important that the people controlling the lighting understand what we need and it was a first for us when Simon actually came up to us and asked for our opinion… LOVE IT!
Cypress Lakes – a nice venue that’s close to the gardens and other venues.
Tulloch Winery – yep, I mentioned them above but will mention them again, Daniella was fabulous!! Oh, and the food was delicious!
Zen Hair Skin Body – Lovely staff here and this salon can accommodate a lot of people. Not to mention a gorgeous job on the hair and makeup :) I love a good hairspray shot – and they were very accommodating ;)
I loved Kirsty’s dress – it is one of the most amazing wedding gowns that I have seen… as soon as I find out where she got it, I will let you know :)
Enough of my rambling… here are my favourites :)
