Angelica Peady {Sydney Wedding Photography} Liza and Frank – St Marys Cathedral

There are some iconic venues that as a photographer you always dream you will get to shoot in – so when Liza informed me that her wedding ceremony would be held in St Mary’s Cathedral I was truly excited. This amazing building is not only a famed Sydney landmark but I knew it would provide a fabulous backdrop for the nuptials of a lovely couple.

Liza and Frank’s big day was the epitome of Sydney glamour. From the distinctive church, to the harbourside reception (at Star Room Darling Harbour) it was luxe, grand and filled with lots of details that added real wow-factor.  A black and white colour scheme set the tone for an elegant and sophisticated event. Beautiful Liza wore an amazing tulle skirted Maggie Sottero gown complimented with a cathedral length veil which made for dramatic photos and an absolutely stunning bride.

The attention to detail for the reception theming was second-to-none, the cake featured a fleur de lis style motif which was carried through the stationary, menus and table linens and very ‘blingy’ diamante table centre pieces added sparkle and fun.

Delicious details aside, Liza and Frank were just so in love – and this made for authentic, romantic images. Their connection and emotion for one another was so obvious and the resulting images have captured their connection perfectly. Not just love-birds, this pair are also party people – hitting the dance floor with gusto and hosting a reception that was a real celebration of them and their families.

Congratulations Liza and Frank! Thank you for the honour of sharing your special day with Angelica Peady Photography. We wish you a lifetime of love and happiness.
