While others of you may have been answering the door to trick-or-treaters or watching Junior Master Chef – the team at Angelica Peady Photography were having a once in a lifetime experience – shooting a Halloween themed wedding! If you follow our blog you would know that we love weddings that are highly personal, a little bit quirky and all about fun and Gwynn and Ben’s big day ticked all these boxes and more.
The ceremony was held at St Michaels the Archangel Chapel at Rookwood. For those of you who are not Sydney-siders, Rookwood is better known for being one of the largest cemeteries in the Southern Hemisphere with graves dating back to the mid 1800’s. With amazing headstones and historic vaults this was a very fitting location for a Halloween themed wedding! (Just for a spooky Halloween fact it is estimated that over one million people have been buried here since the site opened! Not that we can report any ghostly activity was experienced!)
The beautiful bride – who arrived in a hearse – wore a dramatic red cape over her wedding dress and the groom wore a suit of armor.
So, for now – here’s a taste of the day that was for the team at Angelica Peady Photography. It was fun, fabulous and a little bit spooky. Just what you’d expect from a Halloween wedding.
