Every bride and every wedding photographer hopes that the bride’s preparations will go seamlessly. All her suppliers will arrive on time, there will be no mishaps along the way and everyone involved will be happy, relaxed and enjoy the experience.
Today’s Fab Friday tip is simple – be prepared! Just like the Girl Scout motto a little bit of prior planning before hand can make for a much less stressful morning of your wedding.
Firstly, have a list of all your suppliers and their phone numbers on hand. That way if you have to follow someone up it’s easy to do. Email the list to a bridesmaid or two in advance also so it’s easily accessible by multiple people.
Secondly, build yourself (or buy) a bridal emergency kit. It’s a simple box of all the little necessities that can solve your preparation dilemmas. From Panadol to spare stockings and everything in between having these things on hand makes fixing any more small dramas easy! Thirdly, have bubbles on hand. Everything is more fun when you add champagne!
Lastly, enjoy getting ready. If you are organised this will be a fun, pampering, special time with your ‘entourage’ before you head down the aisle…
