Nothing says your clients love your work more than a referral. And this beautiful twosome, Amelia & Chris came to us via one of our past couples, Gerado & Nicki so that was a wonderful compliment to the Angelica Peady team.
Chris & Amelia are one of those couples that you know just have an awesome groove together. They are best friends as well as husband and wife. Both teachers, they share that something that just feels right. You know they are meant to be.
Their wedding day had that same lovely ease. Vows were exchanged at St Brigids Catholic Church at Millers Point (The Rocks) and despite a lot of guests the involvement of their families in the ceremony created a truly special intimacy and really celebrated two different families becoming one.
The weather was glorious and after the formalities were complete we were able to luxuriate in the Sydney sun and have portraits taken at Mrs Macquarie’s Chair and the Botanical Gardens where their reception was later held.
Of course, a beautiful bride always makes for gorgeous photos and Amelia was radiant. A luxe gown adorned with a striking jewelled detail and elegant cream roses made for a picture-perfect bride. Handsome Chris was cool as a cucumber and bursting with pride in front of his ample gang of international guests from the UK.
Two cool details we have to quickly mention – the cheese wheel cake (tres sophisticated!) and the quirky guest book idea which saw thumb prints make for an arty keep sake for the newly weds home.
All in all, a fabulous wedding. And the light. Sigh. Gorgeous dreamy afternoon light – how I love thee. And what stunning photos you maketh. So, here they are. Enjoy!
Chris and Amelia. Thanks for inviting us to be part of your ‘big day’. We wish you a life rich in love and happiness.
