One of the things that I love most about being a Sydney wedding photographer is that just when you think you know all the great secret spots you find that there’s something new. Sydney is so rich in its amazing buildings, beautiful harbour and quirky locations that I often wonder if I’ll ever cease being in awe of this great place we live – and Mosman Art Gallery and Cremorne Manor where Jessie & Sarah celebrated their love was just another example of this!
Sarah was a stunning bride with striking flame coloured hair, resplendent in her gold gown she was truly fabulous. Blood red roses, red lipstick and red heels added to the glamour and with a handsome groom on her arm Sarah was perfection.
While their guests enjoyed cocktails upstairs at the Gallery the bridal party headed waterside to Cremore Point for photos – it was a moody, overcast day and despite the lack of sunshine mother nature turned on dramatic skies and a dark sea and va-voom the pictures are amazing!
Special note must be made of the gorgeous theming which Sarah hand-crafted herself. The place cards were printed on vintage book pages and incorporated imagery of animals, bones and heart motifs. The floral designs of birdcages with red roses, twisted vine and the matching birdcage themed cake were exquisite.
With Sarah’s golden gown and the rich red accents it was the perfect opportunity for Angelica Peady Photography to bring out our custom gold backdrop for some extra wedding bling! It is not common for wedding photographers to bring this kind of prop with them but we not only love the look but believe it allows additional flexibility in the shots that we can achieve for our couples – it’s just one of the little extras that makes Angelica Peady Photography special ;)
Sarah & Jessie – we wish you a loving and happy life together. Thank you for sharing your celebration with us, it was a privilege to be a part of your ‘big day’.
