Angelica Peady Photography {Hawkesbury Engagement Photography} Corinne & Phil – Autumn Lovers

Shooting an engagement session is almost my favourite thing to do. Weddings, of course, are amazing. But an engagement – or love shoot – has a more dreamy, relaxed feel that just makes them such a pleasure to be part of.

An engagement shoot seems to capture a couple at their very best, totally smitten and on that ‘we’re getting hitched‘ high. Without a care in the world. It’s a time when the couple aren’t worried about florists or hire cars or the best man’s ability to remember the rings – its just utterly, blissfully a moment where two people have got to be in love and nothing else.

And that’s why I love an engagement shoot so much.

So, here’s our most recent couples portraits. Corrine and Phil. And it was just like I described….perfect. Autum leaves, golden light and these two love birds rolling around, laughing, smooching, holding hands, generally being two people who can’t imagine anything better than being Mr and Mrs.

As the afternoon light faded, they pulled on some more snuggly clothes and cosied up in front of a camp fire to toast some heart-shaped marshmallows and enjoy just being together (well, just the three of us! ha!).

If you are in love – engaged yet or not – couples portraits are a lovely way to celebrate your relationship. Be it a totally natural, relaxed and romantic vibe or something off-the-wall zany that you dream of shooting, we would love to work with you to achieve just the kind of images you desire.
