It’s always exciting to shoot in my hometown of Sydney and one of the most best things about being a Sydney wedding photographer is the amazing venues available to us. Sydney University is absolutely stunning, its gothic architecture is to-die-for as a backdrop and the lawns are green like a rich carpet so it’s a destination that can make for the most wonderful photos!
One of the photos from this wedding was featured on leading Australian wedding blog Polka Dot Bride as their ‘Sunday Snapshot‘ so you may feel that you’ve seen this beautiful couple somewhere before! It could also be from their romantic Blue Mountains engagement photography shoot which I featured a few months back – no matter where you have seen them these two are memorable for their obvious connection – okay, and the biggest bunch of coloured balloons I’ve ever seen!
Anni and Kurtis spared no detail in adding personal and fun touches to their big day. Annishka designed and sewed her own wedding dress, styled the event including her own tiny dog in his miniature tuxedo, the huge bunches of bright balloons and the high tea service on the University lawns which was hosted before guests moved on to the official reception.
From the fun pops of colour to the extravagant gown this was a wedding that was visually a feast and we know you’ll enjoy these images as much as we did taking them!
Anni and Kurtis we wish you a lifetime of love, happiness and romance. Thank you for sharing your Sydney University Wedding with us!
If you are getting married – we’d love to hear from you! We believe that your beautiful wedding photos should be affordable (just ask for a price list!) and accessible – that’s why we are proud to offer all our images on USB to our brides and grooms. After all they are your images and you should be able to print, share and enjoy them exactly as you want to!
