Greg and Rachel know how to throw a party – and this wedding was the most fabulous, 50’s inspired vintage ‘do you could imagine. From a tea length blue gown (and an outfit change!) to a lemonade stand, lawn games, a glam bridal party and pinwheel decorated cakes there was nothing that wasn’t fun, funky or retro-inspired at this big day.
At Angelica Peady Photography we always emphasise our ‘your day, your way’ belief. We love a celebration with spirit, a wedding that’s real and bursting with personality and a couple who can get down and enjoy their day with their friends and family. Greg and Rachel were just this kind of bride and groom – dream!
Audley Weir and the Audley Room is a restored venue in the Royal National Park. Located 29km south of Sydney it’s a wonderful somewhat undiscovered location with fabulous scenery, a wonderful, flexible function space and unlimited photo opportunities! (Score!)
Greg and Rachel are a very cool pair. Their love for one another is warm and rich and you can just tell that every day of their lives together is as fun and laughter filled and caring as their wedding day. Rachel was a beautiful, 50’s inspired belle with short white gloves, a floaty, gorgeous baby blue dress with sheer floral detail on the sleeves. Greg was the dapper gentlemen with a polka dot tie and matching handkerchief.
Together these 50’s fashionista love birds planned a wedding with real soul. The ceremony was heartfelt, the speeches both funny and moving and the party was the real deal! Kicked off by a fabulous first dance from the bride and groom, Greg and Rachel sent the tone for the night ahead!
Rachel & Greg were pleased to share their ‘dream team’ of vendors with us, here’s the crew behind the magic… Belinda Franks catering provided the food, table styling and venue set up, bridal flowers and floral decor by Floriart, furniture, cake stands and glass hire by The Vintage Kitchen, print and stationary by Amazing Paper, music by The Velvet Set (band), bride’s gown by Sandie Bizys of Annandale, bride’s shoes by Salvios, hair and make up by Michelle Mae, rings by Sondi of Wentworth Falls (including their ring making workshop) and Marion Grace Celebrant officiated.
Rachel and Greg, thanks for sharing your awesome wedding with us. We wish you love and happiness in your married life together. Congratulations!
