When country girl Elsa met Tasmanian Isaac in the snow fields, loved blossomed despite their chilly surroundings. Insert a courtship and these two were soon to be married! That’s where we come into the tale, so lets start there :)
A love of the outdoors and the want for an earthy, rustic wedding meant that Elsa’s family property ‘Travellers Rest’ in Bathurst was the ideal location to host their big day. And I can confirm it was utterly perfect, see the pictures and you will know why!
Elsa was one of my most beautiful, relaxed brides ever! With time to kill on the morning of the wedding she headed out to round-up some sheep. This easy, happy attitude set the tone for the whole day ensuring it was absolutely a wedding that every moment was just lovely for both the bride and groom and their guests.
Rustic chic was the feel for these nuptials. The ceremony was held dam-side with guests seated on covered bales of hay. The floral detail was colourful and an abundance of mason jars and beer bottles filled with mixed blooms were hung on the gates, fence and in the ceremony area. The bridesmaids wore adorable gowns by Fleur Woods and I loved their flat shoes, so practical (and stylish) for moving around on the property.
The locations on the property were amazing, jaw-dropping rural mountains and a barn which was every photographer’s dream. Nothing however could outshine beautiful Elsa, resplendent in a lace gown by Lilli Marcs Bridal (William St Paddington). With soft, romantic hair, perfect make up and a natural elegance Elsa was a truly show-stopping bride.
This wedding was just bliss in every way, more than the dresses, the flowers or the location Elsa and Isaac’s love was what took centre stage. Their bond is real and their caring for one another is so strong you can positively feel it. And, that’s what we are all about at Angelica Peady Photography – real love stories. We believe it’s your day, your way and if you are in love – for us – that’s all that matters.
If you are in love yourself and would like a fun, contemporary photographer to capture your Sydney wedding, Central West wedding or wedding in any other location (have camera, will travel!) we’d like to hear from you.
Congratulations Elsa and Isaac, we wish you happiness, joy and romance in your lives together.
