I remember driving home from Mike and Mandy’s wedding thinking “that was seriously the best wedding we have ever had the pleasure of attending”. It wasn’t the most elaborate or the most glamorous, it was simply the most real, most heartfelt, most entertaining and the most emotional day that we have ever had the pleasure of being a part of.
We always feel blessed to be part of a couples day but this one just struck a chord in our hearts. We laughed, we cried (ok, it was just me crying!!) and we even sang along with everyone. The story of Mandy and Mike was told by their friends and family, they spoke about their amazing love for each other, the journey that life has taken them on and of course the wedding that was to fatefully take place on June 8th 2013. There was a great game that got everyone involved and was extremely entertaining – I’ll happily tell you all about it if you’re stuck for ideas for entertainment for your own wedding. Mike even serenaded his new wife – he had some of his guests join in singing and even playing musical instruments (yes, if you’re thinking it’s like the scene in Love Actually you are right) IT WAS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!! !!
We would like to say a special thanks to Mike and Mandy’s family and friends who made us feel so welcome and treated us like one of the family. And of course a big CONGRATULATIONS to the bride and groom – Mike and Mandy. We truly wish you all the very best xxx
