What was essentially a rainy, gloomy day turned out to be a hot shoot for Paul and Stella’s engagement session. We’d always planned to do a bit of a retro picnic shoot and it turned out even better than we had planned.
It was especially made gorgeous by Stella’s choice of fruit – pomegranate, strawberries and blueberries – yummmm!!!!!!
It did actually rain on the day and I loved the fact that Paul and Stella weren’t bothered at all at getting a little wet. I am sooo glad that they did as my favourite images from the day are the ones where they sat in the sopping wet grass. I love photos in the long grass! and it turns out I even love it when the grass is drenched in rain.
So the winter drizzle was fabulous and we even got to use my gorgeous new umbrella!! 
I can’t wait for their wedding – I know there are going to be some amazing details and if this shoot is anything to go by, it will be FABULOUS!! Paul and Stella – you rocked this shoot!!
