For Mark and Sarah, their family is important to them – their 4 legged family especially! It was really important to them to include the puppies and what better way to capture them than a walk by the river. Once the puppies were all photo’d out, we spent some time with Mark and Sarah on their own and we love these images we came up with!

One of the most enjoyable parts of any wedding that we get to capture at Angelica Peady Photography is the bride getting ready. The air is ripe with excitement, the mood is festive and full of anticipation – and often there’s champagne which is always a good thing right!? It’s just a truly special time to share with our bridal clients.

Our brides choose to get ready in a number of different locations – their own home, their parents home or a hotel suite but one thing they all have in common is the want to look their very best for their big day. These ‘getting ready’ shots capture the many emotions, the pre-wedding preparations and lots of little lovely details.

Some of our favourite images shot over the last twelve months perfectly capture these moments; light-hearted brides hamming it up with their friends, elegant brides checking their look one last time and all those special, memorable ‘firsts’ – candid shots of getting corseted into the dress, looking in the mirror to admire herself fully dressed, proud Dad’s setting eyes on their little girls…

It’s no secret that at Angelica Peady Wedding Photography we love a nuptial celebration with an edge. We are truly excited by that bride that is a little bit (or a lot!) different be it in her look, styling, venue or transport. This fabulous gal had not only an exciting red and orange colour theme, a bold gown in a stunning orange kaftan, modern native Australian flowers, dramatic make up and an enchanting private residence back-drop – swoon, swoon and swoon! As lovers of weddings with colour it was almost too much fabulousness for us to handle!

The delicious details – an orange orchid wedding motif was laced throughout the days details, a contemporary native styled bouquet, bright yet elegant stationary, a be-jeweled collar fit for a queen and a dress to die for. It was a visual feast and here are the resulting images…

Some beautiful brides just make your heart soar and this stunning Sydney gal could not have been more magazine-perfect for a Spring wedding.

A fresh, floaty and natural yet glam bride combined with the addition of an amazing heritage garden in full bloom and a tree full of whimsical pompoms ensured that every detail celebrated the change of season and the dewy, minti gorgeousness of Sydney at its very best.

Pompoms are an emerging wedding and event decor at the moment and as a photographer that loves all things quirky and different, it was fabulous to shoot Annishka Oska amongst them. Even better, despite her amazing gown, stylish birdcage veil and beautiful hair and make up, Annishka was up for anything – not every bride will suggest climbing a tree for you – and that made the Angelica Peady Photography team love her just that little bit more!

Our own philosophy is that wedding photography should be gorgeous – but also fun, light hearted and candid – and so ‘can do’ Annishka really allowed us to capture some magical images with her spontaneous, easy approach to the day.
